Our Impact
Healthcare
Medical Outreach Events
6 medical outreach events have been conducted in Ipoti; serving over 10,000 residents with free dental, optical, and basic health care. Self-funded and with support from pharmaceutical companies, we provide general medication, tooth extraction, vision examination, eyeglass distribution, and funds for cases requiring follow-up.
Medical Missions
Our medical missions were pioneered by Mrs. Jean Jegede and Dr. Dayo Obebe to support a healthy Ipoti population. With each successful trip, we are confronted by a realization that provision of year-round access to affordable, quality care is irreplaceable.
Reception
Ipoti warmly receives us each year; expressed in ground support, provision of activity spaces, and eager anticipation of our visits. The Seventh Day Adventist Church is notable for surrendering its entire space to each contingent, as are many residents for contributing local know-how, time, and legwork to the logistics committees.
